Terms of Service
Last updated October 31, 2026
These terms govern your use of bryanli.net and the applications hosted on its subdomains, including omni.bryanli.net (together, the “Services”), which Bryan Li (“I”, “me”) operates. By using the Services, you agree to these terms.
The Services
The Services include a personal portfolio, resume pages with access links, an AI resume chat assistant, and tools for signed-in users, some of which connect to third-party accounts such as Google. Features may change or be discontinued at any time.
Accounts and access
Some features need an account, an access key, or a connected third-party account. Keep your credentials and access links confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under them. I may suspend or revoke access at any time, including access keys and chat sessions.
Connected Google accounts
If you connect a Google account, you authorize the Services to access the Google data you approve on Google’s consent screen, and only to provide the feature you requested. The Privacy Policy explains how that data is handled. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Your use of Google services also remains subject to Google’s own terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights.
- Try to get around access controls, rate limits, or security measures, or get into accounts or data that aren’t yours.
- Scrape the Services, overload them, or disrupt them, including automated abuse of the chat assistant.
- Upload malware or harmful, deceptive, or unlawful content.
- Share resume access links or content beyond what they were shared with you for.
AI-generated content
The chat assistant and other AI features produce automated responses. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they are not statements, offers, or commitments by me or any employer. Check important information before relying on it.
Intellectual property
Content on the Services, including text, design, and resume material, belongs to me unless noted otherwise. Open-source projects linked from the Services are governed by their own licenses. You keep ownership of any content you submit and give me permission to use it only to operate the Services.
Disclaimer
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. My total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed US$100.
Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. I may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. The sections that should naturally survive termination, such as the disclaimer and limitation of liability, will continue to apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts in San Francisco County, California.
Changes
I may update these terms. If I do, I will change the “Last updated” date above. If you keep using the Services after an update, you accept the revised terms.
